2.0. Stego Panel Layout


Use features needed for creating, editing, and running scenarios across 6 panels.

  1. Menu bar: Access all features and environment settings
  2. Scenario Management: Manage scenarios and folders (Folder, Scenario, Common Scenario panels)
  3. Scenario Editor: Create and edit scenarios
  4. Attributes: Show detailed attributes for selected steps
  5. Device: Connect and control devices (Device tab, UIObject Selector tab)
  6. Output: Show scenario run results




Menu Bar #


Top menu bar to access all Stego features.

  1. Stego: Check Stego version information or set up environment.
  2. Workspace: Set up scenario working location.
  3. File: Create new scenarios and save as files.
  4. Edit: Edit scenarios.
  5. Debug: Run scenarios.
  6. View: Adjust panel and screen sizes.
  7. Window: Minimize Stego window.
  8. Help: Go to Documents on the website.

Folder Panel #


Organize and manage scenarios systematically with folders.

  1. Search Folders: Search folders with the search button.
    • Shortcut: Cmd + F (Mac), Ctrl + F (Windows)
  2. Create New Folders: Create folders by project or feature (e.g., ‘Login’, ‘Payment’, ‘Cart’).
  3. Rename: Right-click folder to change name.
  4. Delete: Right-click folder to delete.
  5. Link: Right-click folder to connect with Ptero’s Scenario Repository.
    • Link can be used after registering Access key in Stego.

Scenario Panel #


Use scenario creation, editing, and management features.

  1. Search Scenarios: Search scenarios with the search button.
    • Shortcut: Cmd + F (Mac), Ctrl + F (Windows)
  2. Create New Scenarios
  3. Import Scenarios: Load .stego files saved on your PC.
  4. Download from Ptero: Download scenarios from Ptero’s Scenario Repository.
  5. Upload to Ptero: Upload scenarios to Ptero Scenario Repository.
  6. Rename: Right-click scenario to change name.
  7. Delete: Right-click scenario to remove unnecessary scenarios.
  8. Move to Common Scenario: Right-click scenario to change to Common Scenario.
  9. Make a Copy: Right-click scenario to create a copy of the scenario.
  10. Upload: Right-click scenario to upload scenario to Ptero Scenario Repository.

Ptero upload and download features require Stego folders and Ptero’s Scenario Repository to be connected.

    Common Scenario Panel #


    Manage scenarios used commonly across multiple scenarios. Save repetitive tasks like login and initial setup as Common Scenarios to improve efficiency.

    1. Search Function: Search Common Scenarios.
      • Shortcut: Cmd + F (Mac), Ctrl + F (Windows)
    2. Upload to Ptero: Upload Common Scenarios to Ptero’s Scenario Repository.
    3. Rename: Change Common Scenario names.
    4. Delete: Right-click Common Scenario to remove unnecessary Common Scenarios.
    5. Move Back to Scenario: Right-click Common Scenario to change to regular scenario.
    6. Make a Copy: Right-click Common Scenario to create a copy of the Common Scenario.




    Scenario Editor Panel #


    Create and change scenarios.

    1. Show Changes: Check save status after scenario changes.
    2. Search Steps: Search by step name.
    3. Add New Step: Add new steps at the end of scenarios.
    4. Go to First Step: Go to the beginning of scenarios.
    5. Go to Last Step: Go to the end of scenarios.
    6. Expand All: See all child steps.
    7. Collapse All: See only top-level steps.
    8. Expand Description: See Block step descriptions.
    9. Collapse Description: Hide Block step descriptions.
    10. Scenario Settings: Change scenario settings.
    11. Export File: Save and export scenarios as .stego files.
    12. Save: Save current work.
    13. Run All: Run scenarios from beginning to end.
    14. Step List: See all steps in scenarios.
      • Change step order with drag and drop.
    15. UIObject Information: Check and edit UIObject information.

    Attributes Panel #


    Check and set up Attributes for selected actions.

    1. Hide Panel: Hide the Attributes panel.
    2. Show Attributes: Check Attributes for selected steps.
    3. Expand Panel: Expand the Attributes panel.




    Device Panel #


    Use test device connection, control, and UI element analysis features.


    Device Tab #


    Control connected devices in real time.

    1. Device Information: Check names and status of connected devices.
    2. Add Device: Connect new devices.
    3. Real-time Screen: Check current device screen in real time.
    4. Device Control: Control devices with touch, swipe, home button, etc.
    5. Switch Tab: Switch to UIObject Selector tab.

    UIObject Selector Tab #


    Identify and choose UI elements needed for scenario creation with AI-based screen analysis.

    1. Recognize UI Elements: Check UIObjects recognized by AI.
    2. Enter Image URL: Use UIObjects from image URLs.
    3. Choose UIObject Type: Use various UIObject types.
    4. Switch Tab: Switch to Device tab.
    5. AI Analysis Results: Check detailed UIObject information.

    Output Panel #


    Check scenario run results.

    1. Run Time: Scenario run time (in seconds).
    2. Result Limit Notice: Check up to 1,000 step results maximum.
    3. Save Results: Save test results as .zip files when runs complete.
    4. Hide Panel: Hide the Output panel.
    5. Show Results: Check run results for each step.
      • Click steps to see detailed results in Step Result window.
    6. Expand Panel: Expand the Output panel.
