Get started with mobile app testing in Ptero.
Explore Sample Projects #
Use sample projects to explore the testing process before creating your own project.
- Select Mobile App from the Ptero sidebar.
- Choose BBC News or Saucelabs XCUIReference.
- Click Run Test and select Autonomous Test Suite.
- Review the test execution results.
1. Create Project #
- Select Mobile App from the Ptero sidebar.
- Click Create New Project.
- Upload your app file or enter the app ID.

2. Set Up Test Suite #
Choose a test suite for your project.
- Autonomous Test Suite: AI explores the app automatically.
- Scenario Test Suite: Runs scenario-based tests created in Stego.

3. Run Tests #
Run tests immediately or schedule them for later.
- Run now: Click Run Test to execute once.
- Scheduled runs: Set up tests to run automatically on a schedule.

4. Review Test Results #
After a test finishes, review the results and details.
- Test Results: Passed, Failed, Warning, Stopped, etc.
- Test history: Step-by-step logs and screenshots.
- Test details: Test name, duration, devices, and more.
