3.0. Start Web Testing

Get started with web application testing in Ptero.

1. Create Project #

1. Select Browser from the Ptero sidebar.
2. Click Create New Project.
3. Enter your web application URL.

2. Set Up Test Suite #

Browser projects support only the Autonomous Test Suite.

• Autonomous Test Suite: AI explores the web app automatically.

3. Run Tests #

Browser projects support only immediate runs.

• Run now: Click Run Test to execute once.

4. Review Test Results #

After a test finishes, review the results and details.

• Test results: Passed, Failed, Warning, Aborted.
• Test history: Step-by-step logs and screenshots.
• Test details: Test ID, duration, browser information, and more.
