Stego Web currently supports Local Desktop and Remote Connection for Windows desktop environments.

Select and Connect a Device #
- In the Device panel, click + to open Add Device.
- In the device list, select the checkbox for the device you want.
- Click Add.
- You can connect up to 4 devices at the same time.
- Status
- AVAILABLE: Ready to connect
- CONNECTED: Currently connected and in use
- IN USE: In use by another user or in Ptero
- REBOOTING: Rebooting
- OS filter: Filter by OS (for example, Android, iOS).
- Favorites (★): Click the star to pin frequently used devices to the top.
Connect a Local Desktop (ReX Agent) #

To test on your Local Desktop (your current PC) in Stego Web, install ReX Agent.
Local Desktop is supported on Windows only.
- In Add Device, select Local from the left-side filter.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to download and run the ReX installer (
.exe).- If ReX Agent is already running, installation or updates may fail. Fully exit ReX Agent before running the installer.
- If Microsoft Edge blocks the download,
- Click the Downloads icon in the top-right of the browser.
- Hover over
ReX.exe, then click … (More). - Select Keep.
- In the warning popup, click … and choose Keep anyway to complete the download.
- Click Register.
- Select the installation language (Korean / English) and complete the setup.
- Back in Add Device, click Retry Registration.
- Select the listed Local Desktop, then connect.
You can verify that ReX Agent is running, or exit it, using either method below.
- System tray (bottom-right of the taskbar)
- Check: If the ReX icon appears, ReX Agent is running.
- Exit: Right-click the icon, then click Exit.
- Quick Menu
- Check: Hover near the top-center edge of your monitor to reveal the hidden menu.
- Exit: Click the Exit icon on the right side of the menu.
Verify and Disconnect #

In the Device tab, you can see connected devices.
Click X on the right to disconnect a device.
If you don’t use a device for 10 minutes, Stego shows a disconnect warning. If there’s no activity for 1 more minute, Stego ends the connection automatically.
