Uploading Scenarios to Ptero

Upload and download scenarios between Stego and Ptero.
Scenarios are managed at the team level. Team members share and access scenarios through the Scenario Repository in Ptero.

Link a Folder #

To upload or download scenarios, first link a Stego folder to a Ptero Scenario Repository folder.

  1. Right-click the folder.
  2. Select Link.
  3. Choose the Team and confirm the Folder name, then click Link.

If a folder with the same name already exists in Ptero, Stego links to that folder automatically.

Folder Icon Legend #

  1. Linked to Ptero.
  2. Contains scenarios already linked to Ptero.
  3. Default icon (not linked).

Upload Scenarios #

Upload a folder #

  1. Select the linked folder and click the Upload icon in the upper-right corner.
  2. In the Upload Folder window, review the included scenarios and click Upload.

A check icon appears in the Status column when the upload completes.

Upload individual scenarios #

Right-click method:

  1. In the Scenario panel, select scenarios to upload (use Shift or Ctrl/Command for multi-select).
  2. Right-click the selection and click Upload.

Upload icon method:

After modifying a scenario, an Upload icon appears next to it. Click the icon, review the list, and click Upload.

Uploading a Common Scenario also uploads any scenarios that reference it.

A check icon appears in Status when the upload completes. The uploaded scenarios appear in Ptero’s Scenario Repository.

Synchronize Common Scenarios #

Synchronize a Common Scenario in the current folder with copies of the same name in other folders.

  1. Select the Common Scenario (multi-select supported).
  2. Right-click and choose Apply Changes to Other Folders.
  3. Click Apply.

A check icon appears in Status after synchronization.

Download Scenarios #

Download scenarios from Ptero’s Scenario Repository to Stego for editing.

  1. Right-click the linked folder and confirm the link (or link it first).
  2. Click the Download button at the top-right of the Scenario panel.
  3. In Download Scenario > Scenario List, choose scenarios and click Download.

A check icon appears in Status when the download completes.

Scenario icons #

  • Created or modified, not yet uploaded.
  • Uploaded (check icon).

Common Scenario icons #

  • A scenario referencing this Common Scenario has been uploaded.
  • Default icon (new or unlinked).
